Volunteer at CGTI!
The Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute doesn’t end when youth leaders graduate high school! Anyone 18+ can join the CGTI Volunteer Staff and serve at CGTI events. Volunteer Staff is open to both CGTI alumni and adults new to programming.

CGTI Volunteer Staff:
Co-facilitate discussion groups, instructing youth through leadership development activities, peer collaboration and healthy conversations.
Support the action planning process and provide insight on effective prevention tactics.
Assist with overall CGTI programming and activities.
Ensure participant safety, supporting youth through all hours of events.
Complete in-person and online training prior to CGTI events.
Applications are closed for CGTI 2025. Applications for Mid-Year 2026 Volunteer Staff will open in October 2025.
Volunteer Staff that are interested in investing more time into the CGTI programming and process can apply for our CGTI Leadership Team!
Leadership Team is open to Volunteer Staff who have served two consecutive summers (Youth Staff year does not apply.) The Leadership Team meets from January to July to plan programming with IABH Staff and will support events through specific roles.
Applications for the 2026 Leadership Team will open in November 2025.
Volunteer Staff Involvement
Volunteer Staff help facilitate Discussion Groups, support action planning and assist with the overall coordination and success of CGTI events. Volunteer Staff must be 18+ and have graduated high school. The Volunteer Staff application process follows a number of phases to ensure that Volunteer Staff are prepared for the event!
Summer Conference

PHASE 1
Application
Volunteer Staff applicants will submit their form to IABH Staff.

PHASE 2
Interview & Selection
All applicants are interviewed by IABH Staff before being accepted via email.

PHASE 3
Staff Development
All Staff are required to attend a development call.

PHASE 4
Staff Training
All Staff are required to attend training the Friday–Sunday before CGTI on campus.

CGTI
All Staff will serve in their role for the full duration of the event, Sunday–Thursday.

All Staff are required to attend Staff Training the Friday–Saturday of the Mid-Year.
